Choices, choices

Tomorrow I'm heading up to the guild meeting in Grantham as I'm sure not missing another one! I tend to take a WIP with me, so there's no excuses or temptation to start something new. I may or may not do it this time, here are my options for consideration...Continue Hello Chevron- I did two rows more in the last meeting I went to so it's exactly half size now...I could carry on with the Lone Star-esque quilt I am casually making for no reason whatsoever... more bits were cut out this week. I've actually since sewn some of this pile together.DSCF6982I could continue my Barcelona quilt top that I'm a good way through because the blocks are speedy- in fact I could very well finish the top if I keep my head down...DSCF6977Or do I carry on wading through the scrap strips I have to make more log cabins? Or do I make a sew together pouchy bag thing? I've just bought the pattern! We're also working on an improv group quilt, and here is my strip for it. I'm not 100% sure about this but it's better than last time.DSCF6984It's based on this photo, and I made it up from memory without referring to the image this time and I think that helped simplify it. Last time I tried too hard and had too many wonky curves!image for group quiltI'm very much looking forward to actually getting some sewing done, and being out of the house other than for just being at work. Sewing with Hank stealing your stash/ripping up paper patterns/ emptying your bin/ chewing bag handles/ jumping up and taking random stuff off the worktop and then locking his jaw on whatever it is is not conducive to getting stuff done, but at least he's starting to understand quiet play time by himself now.DSCF6979Oh and before I forget and in case you didn't see in Instagram last week, I have a cushion on the cover of Sewing World at the moment and my moose is on page 21 of Patchwork & Quilting, as well as the bag issue of Popular Patchwork still available for another week. *swell head*
