A few quick things

WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced

Firstly today I wanted to make sure I was part of the WIP Wednesday thingy as it's been a few days since I showed my progress on my Great Granny quilt and there has been quite a lot of progress since then! It's not finished in time for another Finish Along post but I still plan to finish the top this week and maybe even finish quilting the Rain Deer Limbo quilt too but we will see how much thread I have and if it will stretch that far.Next I noticed that there is a new FREE block of the month video class for 2013 starting up on Craftsy! I missed the first one "properly", in that I signed up and can still play if I want but I didn't do the BOM along with everyone else. Now I've signed up for this too and I think even if I just take a block I like and transform it into a quilt I can't really go wrong as it's free! So get in there!Lastly I've started a swap over on Swapbot for scraps- swap 400g of your scraps for 400g of other peoples' and revitalise your scrap drawer. It's called the "Shift Your Scraps Swap". We all know it's boring using the same scraps over and over so this way it makes them all the more exciting! If you'd like to join up, please do so by 19th January, with parcels to be sent out by 31st January as it's a quick, no fuss swap. See you there
