Small stuff finished

I've made a few little things this past week. Firstly I have this purse and three fat quarters inside for a secret santa swap on the Popular Patchwork forum...I also started this embroidery for Kirsty about 9 months ago after her dog Taz died. She has had a baby during this time. There wasn't even very much to finish which is very bad of me but now it's ready to go to live with her.I also made this cushion for OH's mum (and the Lovely Year of Finishes!) for her bright cushion collection...This is the back...I didn't do the piping as there wasn't enough and I couldn't figure out how much to leave over hanging at the edge for a firm finish but also not see the stitches from making the piping- so I gave up!So I pretty much thought I'd finished all my Christmas sewing before we got to double figures, however, two pairs of oven gloves have now been requested, so my Christmas sewing is not yet over.
