Window shopping for dogs

Fletcher is getting worse very quickly- not in how he is acting, he still doesn't notice anything is wrong (I don't think, though he did try and spin round to see what was wrong yesterday), but the amount of blood is beginning to frighten me.We've had a discussion and not having a dog is not an option, and as the time is probably going to be sooner than later at this rate, we've had a bit of a browse online to see if there are any hounds that we might suit.
