Making progress

I got straight back into sewing when I got home. All of my loose pieces of fabric are now ironed and on cards ready to file in colour order...I'm 3/4 of the way through straight line quilting the Helsinki Square Dance Top (and wow, I don't enjoy straight line quilting, no wonder people who generally stick to simple quilt patterns say they don't like the process- so boring, and it bunches up more on the back because of the continuous direction of shifting). And lastly, I naughtily started a new project using my Liberty bundle (which are actually Fat Eighths). I've picked the fabrics, printed my design and made all the freezer paper templates. This one will be for my grandma.Linking up with...

A new thing I'll occasionally do, check it out.
