Reign Repeats - Create Perfect Repeat Patterns in Illustrator

If you've ever tried to design your own fabric for Spoonflower in Illustrator, it can be a bit annoying getting it all to match up perfectly. I usually have to go back and shuffle things about slightly. So when I found this online class starting TODAY (it's a bit like Craftsy, you can watch the videos at your own pace) I signed up!It gives you a tutorial on Illustrator and its tools in general which I will find useful - it's my least favourite Adobe Creative Suite software because I don't know a whole lot about it. Then it will go through importing sketches (with and without a scanner) and finally onto the repeats. Flicking through there are seven chapters and a total of 16 video lessons. The theme we will be working on is Picnics so that we can submit for the contest on Spoonflower closing on July 2nd.I can't endorse it just yet as I've yet to actually start the class, but it sounds pretty good!If it's you're first time using Skillshare (it's mine too) you get $10 off so the class is $20 or £13.24-ish. That's less than £1 per lesson. Click here to find out more or to register.
