The target for this month

...is to finish my Weekender bag! well as far as The Lovely Year of Finishes goes anyway. It will be a busy month as I want to finish the quilting on Wallander and I also said I would finish Hello Chevrons for the Finish A Long and there are only 29 days left of this quarter! Not sure how well that will go...My bag in pieces...My Button And I have started sewing it together if I'm honest, I've made the straps and piped the pockets so far, I'm at the point where I am going to stitch on the straps and attach the pockets to the main bag panels. Should be a doddle. I'm quite confident with the instructions now I'm following them along. In other news I received my last row in the Popular Patchwork Row by Row swap which is another swap thing ticked off. I'm thinking of arranging my rows unconventionally and adding a bit more black negative space. Here's a layout I'm thinking of (minus photobombing dog)...And I didn't feature in the top 10 on Spoonflower for the Mod competition unsurprisingly as there were some fantastic entries, however I'm in the frogs one too, here's my design:Frog PondThe voting page is here for this one, thank you! (I've not managed to get the page to open for me, hopefully you will have more luck)
