I actually sewed!

Well I got most of my targets done this weekend, however no more progress on Wallander just yet this week.I did half a Forest QAL block as I couldn't find the magazine with the Marcelle Medallion pattern in. Then I found it so that's been pushed to one side slightly for now. So this is my block, I did freezer paper piecing for the first time ever with it. It is a bit wonky though so I might unpick the top seam...Should I add a border? I'm not sure. I suppose it depends on how big it is in relation to my cushion pad, so I'll have to check that first.I also completed the leaves row for Caz in the Row by Row swap which I'll be posting soon. Only one more row and then it will be up to me to do something with all the rows I've received in return. As they all have solid black backgrounds I'm wondering if they will work well with my Forest QAL blocks...
