The Sewing Directory

I don't know if you've noticed that button over to the right of my blog over the last few months? Go on, click it, it takes you here....The Sewing Directory is run by the lovely and knowledgeable Fiona (and helped by Beth) and allows you to find all sorts of sewing businesses in one place, whether that be sewing classes, online fabrics shops or somewhere to take your sewing machine for servicing. There's a separate page for events too and also one for a list of online sales and discount codes, a good place to start if you're in the market for buying more fabric (which is pretty much always).Because you don't always need a directory, Fiona made the site somewhere to keep coming back to- there are interviews with fabric designers, book reviews, technique resources and projects. I particularly like these:
