Off on hollibobs
A last quick post before I go on holiday! I've sorted the packing, the dog has somewhere to go tomorrow and I will be back blogging and sewing again around 15th February as I'm working away straight after we get back.
Of course I have prepared some hand sewing to take to Riga with me- this is a bit of needle turned appliqué basted down ready for stitching for the third round of the UK Borders Agency bee. I hope Wendy likes it and doesn't mind her quilt top doing a bit of travelling!Now all I need to do is find a last minute Union Flag T-shirt or similar as my Team GB jersey came and it was huge, but the tailoring (and price) makes me reluctant to do a bit of alteration on it. Hoping there's an airport souvenir shop with some tacky wares open before 6am on tuesday morning...
