Roll up! Roll up! Basic Grey roll up swap!

Inspired by the various charm square swaps around this Autumn, I was wondering if anyone wants to play in a mini Basic Grey Roll-up (Jelly Roll) swap? I always seem to veer towards Basic Grey's collections for Moda... Love that design house- a retro-y feel but contemporary all at the same time. I think I own at least a little piece of most of their collections!I know that you can get these collections as complete jelly rolls, but wouldn't it be a bit more fun to mix the ranges up? Think of the true scrappy possibilities! So here's how it will work...Instead of a full 40 strip jelly roll which may be a bit cost prohibitive (and also that would assume 40 people would want to join in!), this is a 20 strip swap. So there will be 20 people playing along including me, each sending me 20 2 1/2" strips carefully cut from selvedge to selvedge (straight cut, no fancy pinking needed here!). The fabric you choose should from any collection by Basic Grey, including but not at all limited to Kissing Booth (out soon!) Curio, Hello Luscious, Little Black Dress or any of the older ranges if you're lucky enough to find them! You will need to purchase 1 1/2 yards of one single print (which will leave you with some left over to play with!). This must be as yardage as 6 fat quarters are not going to give you the 44" (approx) long strips you will need.Once I have received the strips I will separate them all out and make up 20 identical skinny jelly rolls and tie them up all pretty, and post them out to you, one each to make into whatever you want!If you want to play (and I hope that you are as excited as I am!) please join THIS FLICKR GROUP and add your name to the list there. Once the list is full I'll drop you a message and it's time to go shopping! Please post a picture of the fabric you intend to buy (or have already bought) on the group to avoid duplication. Keep your eye on the pool to make sure you don't double up on something. Please bear in mind that you will also need to pay for return postage which I will ask you for when the fabrics have all arrived with me. With this in mind, it is open internationally, but please bear in mind the postage cost to and from the UK if you don't live over this side of the ocean before joining the list.I've already bought mine- I'm a cheat :pSee you there- woohoo!
